The University School of Tourism and Hotel Management, in its role as an officially recognised SAVIA/AMEDUS centre, offers two courses in the AMADEUS system. Given its position as the leading travel agency reservation programme, knowledge of its operation and updates is indispensable for all professionals aiming to be associated with this sector. The course objective is to learn how to use this tourism product reservation system and acquire the necessary knowledge to manage flight, hotel and car hire reservations with AMADEUS.

The courses will be held at the University School of Tourism and Hotel Management on the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona campus. The course schedule is as follows:

1st Period;

Level I; April: 22, 24, 26 and 29 (9:00 - 14:00)

Level II; May: 6, 8, 10 and 13 (9:00 - 14:00)

2nd Period;

Level I; June: 10 - 13 (15:00 - 20:00)

Level II; June: 17 - 20 (15:00 - 20:00)

3rd Period;

Level I; September: 9 - 13 (9:00 - 14:00)

Level II; September: 16 - 19 (9:00 -14:00)

4th Period

Level I; November: 4, 6, 8 and 11 (15:00 - 20:00)

The UAB University School of Tourism and Hotel Management proposes this introductory course in the world of wine and wine tasting as a first step towards a full teaching programme on the world of wine and its importance to hospitality and gastronomy. This course aims to introduce you to viticulture, oenology and the preparation and service of different wines as well as the world of tasting.
